No it's fine. I have tinnitus and it's a pain to fall asleep without music. Do however, realize that you will wake up with the music playing in your head even after you wake up. As long as it's not loud, you're fine. I'd say use speakers so you don't need to worry about strangling yourself on the headphone cord.
